The Rinnai tankless water heaters are manufactured by Rinnai America Corporation which is a subsidiary of Rinnai Corporation in Nagoya, Japan established in 1974 and is headquartered in Peachtree City, Ga.

The company's products include gas appliances, energy efficient tankless water heaters, kitchen appliances and heating and air conditioning units. The company's revenue is estimated to be over $2.5 billion. The company claims that it commits itself to safety and the pursuit of comfortable lifestyles.

The recently passed Stimulus bill raised the tax credit for energy-efficient tankless water heater from $300 to 30% of the full purchase and installation price of the unit up to a maximum of $1,500.
