Is Rinnai Hot Water Heater the Best?
Gas tankless water heaters are known for lower operational expenses due to their characteristic advantages. But when it comes for all round performance , the first name comes in the mind of most people is Rinnai tankless hot water heaters. Rinnai tankless water heaters are by far, the best!
I have been installing tank less water heaters for years and Rinnai are the easiest to install, have the best controls, the very best warranty in the business, and service techs and centers all over the US. Some models are even designed to be installed outside, thus no gas in the house and more room for storage.
Probably the only voice against Rinnai water heater is that it is expensive. Yes It’s more expensive up-front, but probably worth extra money in the long run. Because, it is most energy efficient and works by only heating the water when the water is flowing, so with no water flowing, the unit is off.
When you turn the water off, the burner or element heats up, the water passes through the heater and gets hot, in cold, out hot. It’s still would not be instant hot at the faucet though, in that manner it would work the same as a regular water heater with take. As you know tankless water heater heats through a coil system and does not store water. The only downside probably is how many “faucets” it will serve. You may want to consider a main system for the showers and a point of use for your faucets.
Some people vote for both Rinnai tankless hot water heaters and Rheem, both make very good units. However, the venting is critical and must be done properly by a certified technician, dealer or plumber. Generally, you will spend about 2 1/2 times for a tankless water heater than a standard water heater with tank. This may apply to Rinnai water heater as well. They are relatively a little pricey to get into but worth the savings in the long run.
